In mid August this year, (2019) Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman met with Netanyahu to discuss an attack on Hezbollah (read Iran), he was told to wait as the time was not yet right.
In mid August there was a drone strike on Dahiea in Lebanon. It destroyed a Hezbollah media centre. Drone strikes on targets in Syria and Iraq are common. Only one suspect there!
So who stands to gain from a major conflict? Easy – Saudi Arabia and Israel. Both have a common interest in destroying Shia power.
Most advanced technology? Israel.
Preparing for years? Israel.
